The 2017 Final Five will be Maguire U’s 55th appearance at the Final Four!!

If you want to be part of the traveling team for the Phoenix event, we are now accepting deposits. We have reserved 54 Rooms at the Saguaro in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.   We decided on downtown Scottsdale over downtown Phoenix after evaluating hotels, pricing and area restaurants and bars.   We have secured 20 King Rooms and 34 Doubles and they will be reserved on a first come basis with preference given to longtime Maguire members and those attending the Houston trip.

A few things to keep in mind for 2017 which are different than past years. 

  • 4 night minimum stay starting Friday. The hotel will guarantee preferencial pricing 3 days prior and post event at $169 per night for those that wish to extend their stays and catch some Spring baseball!
  • We need strict adherence to payment due dates.  Host cities are becoming more expensive and asking for payment well in advance of the event.  For any exceptions you need to call Art (773)255-9900.

5 Nights (beginning Thursday March 3oth 2017)

  • Single $ 1,600  total
  • Double $ 1040 per person
  • Triple $ 850 per person
  • Quad  $ 750 per person


Due Dates

  •  By February 1st 2016  – Deposit of $250 per person
  •  May 1, 2016 – Additional $500 per person or balance due
  •  January 15, 2017 – Balance due

In the event that you need to cancel after you have already reserved and paid for a room in full or in part, refunds can only be given if we are able to resell the reserved room to another participant.
